PARKS

Southeast Missouri is home to some of the most beautiful and one-of-a-kind parks and conservation areas in the country! Stand at the highest point in the state at Taum Sauk, climb on billion-year-old rocks at Elephant Rocks State Park, swim in the shut-ins at Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park and watch the white-water kayak championships at Millstream Gardens. The local parks boast so much fun it'll be hard to leave. Swim, fish, grill, climb, bike, hike, picnic and learn, all within a few minutes of Arcadia Valley!

KID'S PARKS

If you have little ones with you, take them to the playground!

A nice outdoor facility with swings and such is located on the grounds of the Battle of Pilot Knob State Historic Site.

Another nice playground, Imagination Park, is located on the corner of Main and Madison in downtown Ironton.
